Simon Preston delivers a session on Pioneering Neuro-Inclusion in Timebanking

We’re thrilled to highlight the work of Simon Preston, who is currently establishing a new time bank in Redditch specifically for the neuro-divergent community.

About Simon Preston:

Simon is a neuro-inclusion consultant and educator dedicated to helping organizations create environments where neuro-divergent people can participate meaningfully. With a background in leadership and systems design, his work focuses on removing structural barriers to participation.

Simon’s approach treats Recruitment, Retention, and Communication as a single coherent system. Key strategies for inclusive timebanking include:

  • Recruitment: Using plain, jargon-free language and visual information formats

  • Retention: Providing predictable, structured onboarding and matching based on sensory or social needs.

  • Communication: Offering advance notice of changes and clear, literal language throughout

  • The Meta-Strategy:  Co-production—designing systems with neuro-divergent individuals, not just for them

Simon Preston led a training session in April 2026 and his slides can be found on our website by clicking here
